The UK Government advice is that the wearing of face coverings and masks is most relevant for short periods indoors, in crowded areas, for example on public transport or in some shops.
Please note the wearing of a mask or face covering during the Coronavirus Epidemic is not a substitute for social distancing. The UK Government guidelines for social distancing, at the time of writing (21/05/20) is to keep 2 meters apart from other people at all times. It is also not a substitute for washing your hands which should be performed regularly
Washing
Wash by hand or in a washing machine. If using a washing machine, use a gentle cycle and natural detergent. Air dry or machine dry on low heat.
Using Air Armor
Our masks are not medical devices or personal protective equipment (PPE). They are for personal use and are not intended for use by health care professionals or for use in hospitals or health care facilities. These reusable face masks should not be used in: Any surgical setting or where significant exposure to liquid, bodily or other hazardous fluids may be expected; a clinical setting where the infection risk level through inhalation exposure is high; the presence of a high intensity heat source or flammable gas.
